You can still kick off with the classic Align4/Connect 4 In a Row game play.  However the new games are geared to take advantage of the new token types and new expanded areas of the modular board formats. That allows players to select from a diverse range of game options for one-on-one competitive games to new cooperative team games for up to 6 players on the multi-board format.

Unlike the 4 In a Row sudden death games (play ends at the first alignment), the new games allow players to keep playing getting more alignments and build up a score.  That results in more fluid and dynamic games - especially on the wider modular joined boards. We've keep the new rules super simple so everyone can dive in and get immersed in the new gameplay straight away.
